Indonesiabaik.id - The government has agreed upon and designated National Holidays and Collective Leave Days for the year 2024 through a Joint Decree (SKB) by three ministers, namely the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform.
The establishment of national holidays and collective leave days for the year 2024 is intended as a guide for the public, economic actors, and private entities to plan their activities for the coming year. The designation of national holidays and collective leave days for 2024 will also serve as a reference for ministries/agencies in designing their work programs for the next year.
For 2024, the government has decided on 27 national holidays and collective leave days, comprising 17 national holidays and 10 collective leave days. The following is a breakdown of holidays and collective leave days for the year 2024:

- January 1, 2024: New Year's Day 2024
- February 8, 2024: Isra Mi'raj of Prophet Muhammad SAW
- February 10, 2024: Chinese New Year 2575 Kongzili
- March 11, 2024: Holy Day of Nyepi, New Year Saka 1946
- March 29, 2024: Death of Isa Almasih
- March 31, 2024: Easter Day
- April 10-11, 2024: Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah
- May 1, 2024: International Labor Day
- May 9, 2024: Ascension of Isa Almasih
- May 23, 2024: Vesak Day 2568
- June 1, 2024: Pancasila Day
- June 17, 2024: Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah
- July 7, 2024: Islamic New Year 1446 Hijriah
- August 17, 2024: Indonesian Independence Day
- September 16, 2024: Birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW
- December 25, 2024: Christmas Day
Collective leave days may not be applicable in all companies. However, you can still use the following collective leave day dates as your reference.

- April 8, 9, 12, 15, 2024: Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah
- May 10, 2024: Ascension of Isa Al Masih

- June 18, 2024: Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah
- December 26, 2024: Christmas Day
